After the world was stunned by the shocking events that occurred in a Parkland HighSchool. We are hit with they ultimate disrespect while so many families still continue to mourn.
Former Miami Dolphins offensive lineman Jonathan Martin posted a threatening picture on Instagram, tagging former teammates Richie Incognito and Mike Pouncey.
Martin’s actions and arrests come over a week after 17 people were killed after a gunman opened fire at Parkland’s Marjory Stoneman Douglas High School.
The post showed a gun along with bullets on a bed with #HarvardWestlake and #MiamiDolphins hashtag written on the weapon. Harvard-Westlake was Martin’s high school and was closed Friday. The post also included a message.
“When you’re a bully victim and a coward, your options are suicide or revenge.”
ABC first reported Martin was taken into custody on Friday.
Authorities maintain that,
“The individual we believe responsible for the social media post in question has been detained and our investigation is ongoing,”
as stated in a statement released by the Los Angeles Department.
