Buying and selling? Or keeping it in the family? It’s all the same as 32-year-old Orioles‘ center fielder Adam Jones buys Cal Ripken Jr. 25-acre estate in Reisterstown, Maryland. Jones bought the home for $12.5 million at an private auction on Saturday.    

Cal Ripken is a former Baltimore Orioles shortstop and third baseman. Ripken owned the estate with his former wife Kelly. 

The auction was closed to the media and all others who had not registered to bid.

The 8,545-square-foot mansion has six bedrooms, 10 full bathrooms and a fully stocked chefs kitchen that holds up to 100 guests.

No need to stand in line at the local movies theater this home comes with an 11-seat movie theater with a candy counter. A large pond with a docks sits on the land as well as a spa near the outdoor pool and pool house. 

And if you thought it couldn’t get any better this, Orioles center fielders new home has a gym with a full-size basketball court, batting cage and training room.
