As you probably know by now, when Sports and Entertainment Today (SET) hosts an event, we pull out all the stops. So when you are among the invited for a VIP experience that includes Hamilton, you show up expecting nothing but luxury. This time, the renowned Tony Award-winning, Broadway musical, at the Adrienne Arsht performing arts center in Miami, hosted 50 VIP guests including seven professional athletes and their wives. And of course, SET made sure to pull out all the stops to make it a VIP experience.

The SET VIP Hamilton experience, in partnership with, Truist, Hennessey and IAA wealth management included, VIP valet parking, a dedicated entryway leading to pre-show reception doused with mouth-watering cuisine to satisfy every taste bud. The reception opened with a warm welcome from Adrienne Arsht President and CEO, Johann Zietsman. The crowd mixed and mingled, laughed and shared the excitement for the opportunity to  see Hamilton for the first time.

To set the tone, Hennessy stole the show with their #HennessyLeVoyage, that offered a one-of-a-kind experience sharing hands-on tips and tricks to recreate signature drinks crafted from the finest cognac. So while some guests were mixing and mingling, as you can imagine, others were mixing it up – literally.

As the reception wined down, the anticipation escalated as guests were ushered to their seats just in time for “opening curtains.”

By intermission everyone was buzzing about the costumes, the vocals and how effortlessly hip-hop was weaved into a historic era that many of us have never really taken the time to uncover.  The second half of the show couldn’t come quick enough and everyone agreed, they now appreciated an art form they otherwise may have never experienced.

After the show, still awed by the performance, you could hear commentary about the musical and the night itself. Knowing how much everyone enjoyed the night reassured the SET staff that the expectation for the next event will have to be bigger and better.

So in pure Hamilton fashion we say, “There’s a million things, I haven’t done, just you wait!”

Will you be at the next SET event? We hope to see you there. Keep your eye out for more events coming soon. In the meantime, check out all the fun we had at the Hamilton event.
