Dennis Rodman’s new book. Is it a tell all? A book about sports?
No, believe it or not, it’s a children’s book about acceptance and good lessons. He wrote it last year, Dennis the Wild Bull, is about a tattooed bull with red hair and a nose ring. Picture that!!
“They’ll see me, literally see me,” Rodman told The Associated Press. “They’ll say, ‘Wow, this is just like him.’”
The book main character is Dennis the bull, he is forced to leave his family his family to join a rodeo. Once there he sees he’s different than the other bulls but they become friends.
“More than anything, I just want little kids today just to understand: Ain’t no matter what you do in life — be different, rich or poor, man — guess what? It’s OK to be who you are pretty much, and you’ll be accepted,” Rodman said. “For a guy like me to be very eccentric, to even go to extremes to write a children’s book with all the wild things I do and make it believable, was pretty much incredible.”
True to life, Rodman said his life experiences and obstacles he overcomes growing up helped him write this book. We all know, the world could be more accepting. The cover is cute. Dennis hit the Bulls eye on this one.
