So many things comes mind when you mention the name Serena Williams. Queen of the court, (12x) Grand Slam Champ, body goals, new mommy and now new bride.
After giving birth to a beautiful baby girl Alexis Olympia, Serena & hubby to be Alexis Ohanian set to tie the knot in an out of this world New Orleans 1880s Greek Revival mansion.
The day was magical to say the least.
Serena Williams and Reddit cofounder Alexis Ohanian’s wedding guest list became a star studded affair. Designer Ann Wintour, Beyoncé, Tina Knowles, Kelly Rowland, Carmelo & La La Anthony, Colton Haynes and Kim Kardashian were in attendance.
A Beauty and the Beast- themed wedding featured a performance by members of New Edition. Seated in a runway style seating arrangement guests looked on in awe as Serena floated down the aisle in a gorgeous Alexander McQueen gown. While her bridesmaids wore custom metallic gowns by Galia Lahav.
After the all the I Do’s were exchanged, the tennis star took to Instagram to share all the details of her fair tale wedding.
Showing off a pair of decked out Nike Cortes. The bedazzled trainers she wore while exchanging vows. From the extravagant Greek mansion to the mouth dropping wedding rings, each detail played into the couple’s life so well.
Each table at the reception was named after one of Williams’s 12 Grand Slam titles, and guests took home replicas of Williams’s trophies as party favors.
