“I put my money where my mouth was. Then I put my money with my other money.”

Conor McGregor
sounds like he’s making that up but he’s not.

That’s just one of thousands of you-rule-man statements from his Twitter account.

We love this man and his super-articulate, confident and awesome outspokenness as well as his super-inspiring, while-you-were-sleeping-I-was working work ethic.  Conor has natural athletic talent that has rocketed him to superstardom, a UFC world championship and two division WWE (featherweight and lightweight) cage fighting championships.

His million-follower Twitter accounts show we’re not alone.

He’s the only person in the history of the UFC to hold two simultaneous belts.

Conor’s such a star that he’s now the first Irishman on the cover of Sports Illustrated, too. His fans extend beyond cage fighter fans and sports fiends, in large part due to what comes out of his mouth.

“I am now praised and rewarded for my ability to kill another man with my bare hands,” he tells SI. “My lineage are smiling down on me. I am blessed.”

Pretty great, huh? Now here’s one more from the fighting Irishman.

“This is not talent. This is obsession. This is hard work. Talent does not exist. We are all equals as human beings. You can be anything if you put in the time. You will reach the top and that’s that. I am not talented. I am obsessed.”

So are we.
