There’s Cinderella, Sleeping Beauty and who could forget Snow White? Fairytale love stories that you just can’t help but dream of at night.

Wish upon a star, toss a coin in a fountain, search high and low, to find a love so strong it could move the Rocky Mountains. The question is would you know that love when you see it. For Amelia and Kurtis, the answer is yes.

The pair met while attending Michigan State University. Kurtis played football and Amelia ran for the University’s track team. Sharing similar interests and a unyielding love for God, the sparks began to fly when Kurtis wouldn’t take no for an answer and joined Amelia for bible study date. With their hearts beginning to intertwine, a friendship evolving, a refreshing type of love began to bud.

From supporting Amelia at her track meets, to cheering from the 50-yard line at Kurtis’s MSU football games and now standing with him hand & hand in matrimony. Love, respect, compromise and compassion has not only laid a strong foundation for the couple but assists in keeping their love growing. Kurtis and Amelia both graduated from Michigan State University, ending one life changing chapter to starting their story as one.

Moving to Houston, Texas in support of Kurtis’s NFL career as a Safety, Amelia love goes beyond what she sees for herself, but what she sees for their life as one. A future with a understanding, faith, trust and communication with a man she not only loves, but trusts with her heart. Vowing to each other that no matter what team or state their love takes them to, they will remain true to one another and always know through thick or thin they have the support one another. While some days maybe harder than others, the bond and trust they’ve nurtured over the years will carry them through any uncertainties.

Walking down the aisle on July 15th, 2017, not only announced their union as one but strengthened their relationship. Making the day that more special, the couple Wed in a church ceremony located in the bride’s hometown of Albion, MI with a tent wedding just a stone’s throw away in Marshall, MI to follow.

Pledging unconditional love, commitment, trust and understanding Kurtis Drummond, announced his love for Amelia Bannister by taking her hand in marriage in front of their friends and family. In a picturesque Sottero & Midgley wedding dress, Amelia glows as she glides down the aisle in a beautiful white lace bodice gown. With custom rings and bands designed by Wilson Ye, of Golden Sun Jewelry based in Michigan Kurtis and Amelia put a great deal of thought into celebrating their love and journey as a couple.

Including adding several personal details at the wedding reception that tied in all life’s little details. Perfectly depicting a small snapshot into the couple life and love for one another. Tastefully decorated with pink and gold accents to offset the white back drop the reception showcased little details that really scream Kurtis and Amelia. Beautifully decorated to give a nod to MSU and Houston Texans with a cool corn hole set and even included cute football field printed finger food containers.

The ceremony lifted hearts, as Kurtis and Amelia are announced to the world for the first time as Mr. & Mrs. Drummond.
