During the NFL Honors, Quarterback Josh Allen of the Buffalo Bills delivered a heartfelt shoutout to longtime mailroom employee Roderick Morrow while receving his Most Valueable Player Award.

We’ve got such a great locker room in Buffalo … and it takes everybody from the equipment staff, to the training room, to the strength staff, to Slick Rick in the mailroom, to the cafeteria upstairs,” Allen said. “It truly takes everybody to have team success, and I’m so fortunate to be a part of a great organization.

Roderick Murrow, better known as “Slick Rick” to the Bills family is well-known worker in the facility and had quite the week first at home watching on Thursday when he was acknowleged by Josh Allen, and following with being gifted a car by the West Herr Auto Group on Valentine’s Day.

The 61-year-old has been catching the bus to One Bills Drive for the past 15 years and now has a brand new Chevy Traverse to assist in getting him to and from the facility.

I’m the type of person where I’m like, ‘Why me?’ But that’s how I am. This is unbelievable,” he tells WKBW’s Jeff Russo. “I thank everybody … I’m just an average guy.

In Buffalo, loyalty runs deep—and now, so does Slick Rick’s new ride
