Love is in the air!

Congratulations are in order for Olympic gold medalist Masai Russell and her now fiancé Robert “Robbie” Springfield III.
The two met as student-athletes at the University of Kentucky, where Russell specialized in short-distance hurdles and relays while Springfield competed in long jump.
They took to Instagram to announce the engagement on October 2nd; in one of the pictures, you can see what looks to be a dinner menu, but instead it’s a collage of photos of Masai and Robbie with words next to: “Masai on October 31,2021, you transformed my world. On that day I knew my search was over, and my forever had just begun. Will you marry me?”
Russell captioned her photo “I get to be with be with my best friend forever. ♾️ 💍”
