Buster Posey and his wife Kristen have committed to fight pediatric cancer. Posey’s agent, Jeff Berry introduced him to Dick Vitale and the two joined forces in a cause that is near and dear to their hearts.
“Hopefully, it’ll be a good package,” Posey told reports, “with his intensity and my kind of … calmness.”
A pair that can certainly make an impact, an MVP baseball player and longtime basketball analyst coming together for the cause to build awareness and garner donations. Dick Vitale has raised millions for the The V Foundation.
Recently Posey visited the UCSF Benioff Children’s Hospital and spent time with patients and their families. The couple also hosted a fundraiser at AT&T Park to benefit the V Foundation’s Buster and Kristen Posey Pediatric Cancer Research Award. The commitment that they have shown to impact the lives that cancer is effecting is commendable.
