LeBron James makes history again in a way we haven’t seen before!
James has officially joined the Mattel family as the latest Kenbassador, becoming the first male athlete to do such.
Marking a special moment in history, this release is in alignment with the 45th anniversary of the first Black Barbie.
Expanding the legacy the doll will feature the Akron native’s signature bearded look while rocking a blue and white letterman jacket with his intials “LJ” printed on the front. Lebron is written on the back with “Just a kid from Akron” scripted underneath. In the series of rollout photos the doll was also featured wearing Beats headphones, a snapback, and Nike Air Jordans.
The Barbie Signature LeBron James Kenbassadors doll will be priced at $75, and will be released April 23rd.
