Calling all Madden lovers! Microsoft announced an awesome new charity event in partnership with the NFL that will be launching next week.

It is the Xbox NFL Players Charity Challenge. Eight high-profile NFL players will compete in a Madden tournament. It has not been announced which players will be participating, but we can only imagine what they mean by “high-profile.” The players will be competing live at local Microsoft stores, and it will be a bracket form tournament. The games will be broadcast live on Twitch. For those not familiar with it, Twitch is a live-streaming video platform and focuses on gaming and broadcasts of eSports competitions. Don’t worry though – fans will be able to get in on the action too! Fans can participate by filling out brackets online or at their local Microsoft store.

The final two players will have the chance to make a donation to their charity of choice at Microsoft’s expense and will get to fight for the ever important bragging rights. The tournament starts on October 18th, so be sure to keep an eye out for more details and fill out your bracket!
