Serena Williams hosted her 2nd Annual Live Ultimate Run in Lummus Park on South Beach yesterday. Proceeds from the quarter marathon and 5k run benefit the Serena Williams Fund, which helps individuals or communities effected by senseless violence and helps ensure equal access to education.
Runners and joggers from all across the country ran alongside Serena and Venus on beautiful South Beach in Miami enjoying a breeze and temperatures in the 80’s. People of all athletic abilities, including young children, enjoyed the activities of the morning. The post-race party included food, drinks, and family friendly entertainment. Serena’s Live Ultimate Run is certainly worth participating in, annually.
