Serena Williams will be one of the speakers at this year’s global TED conference in Vancouver. The title of the event is TED 2017: The Future You, and will take place at the Vancouver Convention Centre from April 24-28.
Serena has not played tennis since winning the Australian Open in January, will share her insight on how she balances fame, fortune, health, life and love. Serena is one of 88 speakers on the list, according to The Vancouver Sun.
There will be over 70 presentations at the conference sharing some valuable information. Passes for the event cost $8500 for admittance but if you are unable to attend you can wait until the talks get uploaded or check out a broadcast where TED will broadcast two speaking sessions live to movie theaters around the country.
Serena will be joined by notable names outside of the tennis world including Bollywood superstar Shah Rukh Khan, chess legend Garry Kasparov and Tesla and Space X founder Elon Musk.
