“Celebrated our love for you privately , never forgotten always embraced” A heartfelt message on instagram by Shayanna Jenkins Aaron Hernandez’s wife. Accompanied by the message was a lovely picture of Aaron’s daughter inside a church, with a glowing memory of her late father in the background.

Aaron Josef Hernandez was an American professional football player who played as a tight end in the National Football League (NFL). He played college football at the University of Florida, where he was a key player in the Gators.
In 2010, Hernandez was drafted by the New England Patriots in the fourth round of the NFL Draft. Despite concerns about his off-field behavior, he quickly became one of the league’s most promising tight ends. Over the course of three seasons with the Patriots, Hernandez recorded 175 receptions, 1,956 receiving yards, and 18 touchdowns, helping the team reach Super Bowl XLVI.
However, Hernandez’s career came to an abrupt end in 2013 when he was arrested and later convicted of the murder of Odin Lloyd, a semi-professional football player who was dating his fiancée’s sister. His arrest led to his immediate release from the Patriots and a rapid downfall from NFL stardom. Hernandez received a life sentence without the possibility of parole on April 15, 2015. A few years later in 2017 he hanged himself in his prison cell. In his cell there were 3 suicide notes found, two of which were addressed to Shayanna his fiancee and Avielle his daughter. Both letters expressing his adoration for the two.
