Not only is Dwyane Wade a competitor on the basketball court, but he also fights and stands up for a variety of educational, health, and family service programs in underserved communities, particularly Chicago, Milwaukee and Miami. That’s why in 2003, Dwyane, along with his family, created the Wade’s World Foundation. With the motto “Every Child Deserves a Shot” as the guiding principle, the foundation is dedicated to helping students shine and reach their full potential.
Through the execution of several programs throughout the year, the foundation is able to raise money to continue helping underprivileged students get ahead. One such program is A Night on the RunWade. This electrifying, out of the box charity event began three years ago and is still going strong. Guests are treated to a unique experience uniting fashion, basketball, and charity all in the spirit of giving back. This year, the 4th annual A Night on the RunWade presented by Carnival Foundation Fashion Show presented by HUBLOT featuring looks from DSQAURED2 will take place on Saturday, November 14 in Miami, FL at the Ice Palace Studios.
