Even if we know we are terrible singers, something about belting out our favorite tunes in the car or in the shower makes us believe that we are totally awesome at it. We’ve all been there – probably with a little bit of dancing a fake microphone action too. Now imagine your favorite athletes partaking in some silly karaoke action. Sounds like a good time, right? Well, that is exactly what Shane Battier and his wife do at their annual karaoke charity event – Battioke – that raises money for the Take Charge Foundation.

This year’s event was held on September 22nd, and included guests such as Miami Heat sideline reporter Jason Jackson, basketball executive Pat Riley, Miami Heat coach Erik Spoelstra, and a Pitbull lookalike who could have easily convinced you he was Mr. 305 himself.

There were many notable performances, and thankfully AP Basketball writer Tim Reynolds shared some of them. They did not disappoint.

While we are all pretty happy they followed a path in sports instead of music, it is pretty hilarious to see them up there trying and for a good cause.
